I’m all about STYLE and comfort and can you get any more STYLISH or comfortable than this ensemble?  Here is how it goes down, the sexy gray dress is Ella Moss so right off the top it was built for comfort and ease.  Pamella Protzel Scott is the creative director for this brand and within a few short months of launching the company Ella Moss began generating significant buzz and was literally catapulted into fame when Protzel Scott designed a green striped cotton dress that was worn by Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City. Her fans love her simple shapes and soft wearable cottons and the major retailers such as Barney’s, Fred Segal, Henri Bendel and Ron Herman LA all agree…   The gorgeous vintage chic jacket with the classic houndstooth pattern Dior just screams STYLE…  Love this combination of Ella Moss and vintage Dior, this fusion of comfort and STYLE  is fabuloso!   This winning combo is what everyone wants to wear today, they want comfort and they want STYLE.  What I would truly love to see this outfit with are these Alexander McQueen high couture heels…  Are these heels not off the chair or what? I was blown away that I actually found, what I believe to be brand new, 2 piece black as night Piazza Sempione suit inside the thrift store.  BLOWN away honey ….  I know the retail value of this baby, this label sells at Neiman Marcus, Saks and Bergdorf Goodman and it ain’t cheap like some crack whore, no offense to the crack whores…. The reason I believe it to be brand new is because there is absolutely no signs of wear and tear and it still maintains that manufactured scent.  A Piazza Sempione garment is synonymous with passepartout (that which passes or allows passage everywhere) luxury.  It adds value to a client’s lifestyle by providing her with go-anywhere solutions that empower her and increases her well being.  Hands down I think this is one of the best Italian fashion houses that deliveries on simple and clean line designs…pure and simple and that’s what I LOVE….I don’t like a lot of fuss when it comes to design, I mean I’ll take the fuss if the label is right because I’m a tag hag and that’s ok because I’ve been called alot worse…I’ll take tag hag…. I knew the split second I found these 2 Vertigo made in France capri pants what shoes I would love to see my client wear with these capri pants while walking on the beach in St. Tropez.  I’m not lying the second I found both capri pants I saw these Hermes scandals flash within my mind..  These sporty black leather scandals would look smashing with either the tan or black Vertigo made in France capri pants and couldn’t you just close your eyes for a second and smell the French fresh air….Ooh la la is right…  I also think these black leather Hermes scandals would look ultra chic with this abstract pattern dress by Laundry by Shelli Segal.  I love the ruching on the side of dress, it’s so vogue and STYLISH it hurts to look at.  I love simple understated chic clothing that look timeless and sophisticated whether it’s on some street in France or some street anywhere USA…..  If there is any item on my blog you want price, additional photos and measurements please just email and be sure to check out The Thrifters Boutique. I stumbled upon a box of family photos from the 70′s in a thrift store and wondered how in the world does a box of family photos end up inside a thrift store for sale?  It was a huge selection of family photos ranging from school, Christmas, vacation photos you name it… just lots of ‘family’ photos.  The photo that I really loved the most was the family portrait where everyone was dressed up and ready for their close ups Mr. DeMille.  I remember my family taking our family portraits, my dad brother and I were in suits and not just any suits but leisure suits made from 100% pure polyester and my mom was wearing some fancy formal dress with big head.  Looking back at those photos you really do realize just how much we have lost the urge to get dressed up and take nice family photos.  Such a pity…  I found this entire ensemble inside the same thrift store and put together this simple chic outfit that really does look sophisticated and modern.  The top is a black cotton v neck by Theory which is wonderfully comfortable and modern then you add the black and white long skirt by Laundry by Shelli Segal to this equation and your recipe is ‘modern chic’.  To really crank up the STYLE volume I throw in this Louis Feraud cropped wool little tight number jacket.  The key today is dressing up in STYLE that is modern and comfortable.  I would rather see a woman in this ensemble than in some Christmas sweater’ish top (you know the bedazzled top), waistband polyester slacks with white tennis shoes…..Good god no and I mean no….  This is where the thrift store comes in handy, you can always find STYLISH brands for any occasion.  If there is any item you are interested please email for price, additional photos and measurements and be sure to check out The Thrifters Boutique.  Follow me daily on Twitter & Facebook and enjoy my YouTube videos on thrifting.  Toodles for now.  Daniel
