ABS by Allen Schwartz sexy wrap dress….

I’m having a flashback and I swear to you no drugs are involved.  It was 1980 and I was in high school in south Texas in a tiny town called Raymondville, you drive right by it on your way to South Padre Island and if you blink you’ll miss the entire town.  It was right there at that moment where I encountered my first fashionista and her name was Camille.  Camille was from an affluent family,  her father was a very successful attorney and one of the nicest classiest men of all times.  Camille was just like her father, kind hearted that always wore a smile but Camille wore that smile with the most amazing clothes, shoes and handbags money could buy in the 80′s….  Camille was one of these people that just exuded STYLE and class, she didn’t have to open her mouth for you to know she had “it”.  Camille would take family vacations to Europe with her parents during the summers and always come back with the biggest Gucci or Louis Vuitton bags you could buy.  She would wear Calvin Klein denim skirts which at that time cost a fortune, Lacoste dresses and polo shirts, but what I remember the most were her Diane von Furstenberg wrap dresses which brings me to this blog posting.  When I spotted this simple chic ABS by Allen Schwartz wrap dress it took me down memory lane and that explains why I am having a flashback here.  DVF invented the little wrap dress, she was the original but no matter how you slice this luscious fruit a wrap dress is a wrap dress and they never go out of STYLE.  I haven’t seen Camille in 30 years but one thing I know for sure is having great taste for luxury never leaves the soul.   I’m sure wherever she is today she is dressed with great STYLE and armed with a pleasant smile.  All items on my blog are for sale so please email me and make sure you click on The Thrifters Boutique.
