Rene Derhy top with black velvet 7 for all Mankind slacks.

It’s the artist in me that is such a sucker for pop art and modern graphics on shirts and blouses, that’s why I fell all over myself when I saw this Rene Derhy cotton blouse.  This French company was established in 1969 and was one of the first companies to import fabrics to design Indian inspired tunics and colorful decorations that were inspired by the hippie movement of the 1960′s.  Think Hendrix at Woodstock !  I found these gorgeous elegant black velvet 7 for All Mankind slacks that I believe are brand new.  7 for All Mankind launched in Los Angeles in the Fall of 2000 and was the first company to truly bring premium denim to scale, marking Los Angeles as denim’s venerable center for research and development worldwide changing the landscape of denim forever.  The label exploded onto the scene, quickly earning critical acclaim and an immediate following for its innovative use of fits, fabrics, and finishes in denim.  The brand’s offerings continue to expand through innovative collaborations with highly regarded designers such as The Great China Wall, Zac Posen, Azzedine Alaia, Evan Yurman and Pucci.  I personally would love to get my hands on a pair of Pucci designed denim!  This ensemble is fun, sexy and extremely modern as if there is anything else you would need in life…..  Stop by The Thrifters Boutique and follow me on Twitter & Facebook, also please enjoy my YouTube videos on thrifting.  Toodles for now.  Daniel
