Max Mara sleeveless top with MAG by Magaschoni slacks and a Steven Alan button down shirt dress!
Any day you find a Max Mara sleeveless cotton blouse, size medium, in the thrift store is a good day by me. I love that this blouse is a turtleneck so if you wanted to wear a fabulous vintage necklace, say for example this William Spratling necklace made in Taxco Mexico in the 1930′s, you could in style. Wearing this ultimate stylish Max Mara blouse with a piece of Spratling jewelry not only would you completely turn every head but every eye in the room would be on YOU. Later while I was skipping through the tulips I stumbled on these M-A-G by Magaschoni slacks that have the identical shade of green as the Max Mara blouse. What are the chances of finding 2 different items by 2 different fashion houses that come together so beautifully? Slim to none. Did I also mention that they came out of the same thrift store? Magaschoni’s philosophy is to create distinctive looks for the modern, self confident woman who craves functionality in a stylish wardrobe. Established in 1989, this brand is synonymous with luxury. The lifestyle driven company embraces the highest standards of creativity and quality. Magaschoni is known for its special attention to color and that would be obvious by the abstract pattern on these slacks. I found this striped button down Steven Alan made exclusively for Barney’s Co-op shirt dress size petite. Steven Alan, a native New Yorker, has been a leader in the fashion world on many different levels. Having started as a retailer with stores in downtown Manhattan, he garnered a following of artistic young customers searching for clothing that was original and unique. This dress is a classic Oxford button down with a twist, you have got to love that. Don’t forget to shop at The Thrifters Boutique and follow me on Twitter & Facebook, also please enjoy and share my YouTube videos on thrifting. Toodles for now. Daniel
