Bebe top with Michael Kors velvet slacks.

I haven’t spent a lot of time doing my artwork lately and then quickly I realized that my artwork is taking on a whole new persona, which is my blog.  I realized that everyday we all wake up and face the world and how we choose to dress for that,  is our choice.   Each time we walk to our closets and pull out our daily uniform we are being an artist, we are painting our canvases for that day.  How the world sees us on our canvas is our choice.  Everyday I try to present to the world an image of style and creativity.  Last night I went to dinner with my friends Nena, Rhett and Mitch and I wore my Yamamoto black jacket I paid $4.00 for , a stretchy black dress shirt by Ben Sherman that I paid $2.00 and a pair of casual navy draw string pants made in Italy which I paid $1.00 for.  My entire outfit cost me $7.00 and most importantly I felt good, I felt good because I didn’t spend any money on my outfit and yet I walked into that restaurant I looked RICH.  You too can feel this good and dress this RICH if you shopped at thrift stores.  Ok I’ll stop, I just want everyone to get excited about dressing up more and feeling good about yourself and clothes have that affect.  I scored this brand new Bebe cotton blouse size small with the tag still on for $1.50.  I also found these Michael Kors brown velvet slacks size 8 that were priced at $3.99 but it was half off day so I paid $2.00 for velvet MK’s slacks.  This entire outfit cost me $3.50 and yet when my client wears this she can rest assured that she will feel GOOD.   Don’t forget to shop at The Thrifters Boutique and follow me on Twitter & Facebook, also check out my YouTube videos on thrifting.  Toodles for now.  Daniel
