Michael Kors overcoat + St. Emile sweater + Giorgio Armani slacks.
You not going to believe me when I tell you that I actually paid $2.50 for this Michael Kors mens wool overcoat, but I swear on a stack of vintage Wallpaper magazines. I can’t even begin to wonder what the actual retail price was but it wasn’t $2.50,
more like in the neighborhood of $350-500. Michael Kors is the leading American fashion designer for luxury accessories and sportswear. The company’s heritage is rooted in producing polished, sleek, sophisticated American sportswear with a jet set attitude. We LOVE that…. The next item I found was this gorgeous black / white wool squared pattern sweater size medium by St. Emile. St. Emile is a traditional fashion brand which has made its name through ready to wear clothing such as suits and business outfits. For St. Emile, individual style means clothing yourself according to your type and highlighting your individuality. This abstract sweater was priced at $4.00. Finally I scored Giorgio Armani black wool slacks size 40 or USA 6 for $4.00. These slacks would retail for between $450-600 and probably north of that. The Style review for Armani’s latest collection is that he took the color black and ran with it, all the way through a show whose guts were darkest velvet. He talked about “the new chic,” but what that boiled down to was a very particular precision: a short wrapped skirt a jacket with a broad shoulder – and seaming that evoked Joan Crawford’s exaggerated tailoring from the forties. Does black and white ever go out of style? You better say no…Please don’t forget to shop at The Thrifters Boutique and follow me on Twitter & Facebook .
