Betsey Johnson slacks & Michael Kors blouse with St. John jacket.

I’m just going to say this and get it over with,  I got this St John knit jacket for $1.00.  It was on a rack of clothes all marked $1.00 and as I flipped through each piece, I just about died when I saw the label.   I think St. John looks fabulous on a 20 year old girl or a 70 year old woman, style is style no matter what your age is.  St. John was founded in 1962 by Robert and Marie Gray, now the brand is celebrating 45 years as a fashion leader.  I plundered this Michael Kors zebra print blouse size small that has two draw strings on each side giving it that draped look.  Kors is renowned for his classic, chic, and luxurious but sensible aesthetic on American sportswear and other clothing styles.  The blouse was priced at $3.00 and was brand new.  Who knows how new luxury good items end up in thrift stores but thank the gods they do.  My final piece is the Betsey Johnson black lace slacks size medium or 8 and again brand new with the original tags of $126.00.  Betsey Johnson is a New York designer and has built her long standing career in fashion by following her own set of rules.  When she started her career Edie Sedgwick was her house model so how dazzling is that?  The brand new Betsey Johnson slacks were priced at

$5.00.  This entire ensemble cost $9.00.  I know you still can’t get over the fact that I paid $1.00 for a St John jacket can you?  Don’t forget to check out The Thrifters Boutique and follow me on Twitter & Facebook also please make sure you check out the Google ads on my site, there could be something you can’t live without.  Toodles for now.  Daniel
