I think this chocolate Donna Karen jacket size 8, is super sassy and for $5.00 it’s almost a crime. Nicole Phelps who writes for Style.Com site said ”if Donna Karen didn’t invent uniform dressing in the 80′s, she went a very long way toward making the idea a sexy one. Now, with the economy in a nosedive, she’s brought the clever, potentially budget-saving concept back for Fall, and the result is one of her strongest-looking collections in seasons.” I was thrifting with Sloan when I found the Donna Karen jacket and this Zanella shirt size 8 that I think compliments the jacket beautifully. Zanella originated in Vicenza Italy in the late 1950′s, Zanella has been synonymous with high quality men’s and women’s sartorial trousers. The blouse was priced at $4.39, a blouse made in Italy priced at $4.39, one would wonder if the world was coming to an end. Sloan and I left that thrift store and headed over to another one, yes we are junkies, and that’s where I found these gorgeous Celine slacks size 8 yet again. Phoebe Philo is the creative director for Celine, she was born in Paris and educated in London. In 2001 she was appointed creative director of Chloe. In 2005 she was honored with ‘British Designer of the Year’ awarded by the British Fashion Council. So let me get this right I found a Donna Karen jacket size 8, then a Zanella blouse size 8 and finally the Celine slacks size 8, from 2 thrift stores all within an afternoon. I swear I’m not making this stuff up, it really did happen that way, that very STYLISH way. Maybe 8 is my new lucky number?
