Last night I dragged Mitch to the theater to see A Single Man directed by Tom Ford. It was one of the most stunning films I have seen in a long time. You could stop each frame of the film and it would be a fabulous piece of art. I knew going into the movie that Tom Ford had directed this film, so my expectations were set high. He did not disappoint ! I think everything he touches turns to gold, take for instance Gucci, when he took over he single handedly save that fashion empire and created ultra chic clothes that became sought after among everyone in the world. There is another reason I believe TF is so fabulous it’s because he from Texas. Just my opinion, I happen to think Austin Texas is one of the best cities in the country, if you haven’t been you MUST go. Over the years I have collected lots of Gucci items from the thrift stores but nothing yet from Tom Ford, which is now my mission. My prediction is that A Single Man wins best picture of the year.
