Yes I think I will take you home Valentino.

I was on my knees (get your mind out of the gutter) for what felt like hours, sealing the grout on our new tile floors. When it was all over I got up and out of my house, immediately I drove to Vallue Village Thrift store. I needed some fresh air is how I would phrase it, WINK WINK. I pillaged through the mens long sleeve shirts and stumbled upon this gorgeous black silk Valentino dress shirt. Click the slide show on the link for Valentino and see how the new designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli are creating red carpet worthy elegance. I want to find every item on the Valentino slideshow one day at the thrift stores….GOD willing. The shirt has the Valentino logo all over but done in a subtle manner. Classic and elegant as the day is long, plus it’s my size! I think the fresh air did me a world of good. Toodles for now. Daniel

Don't wear it while you're sealing grout!

That is what I was going to ask you—Did it fit you?? That is so awesome and you rock. I am blessed with some great finds at my nearby Goodwill and ARC. Got some Bandolino mary janes for $5.00 the other day, in my size. The highest heal I wear. Got a beautiful Ann Talylor lined black skirt in my size for $2.50

I went and saw the Valentino film over the weekend and I came away thinking two things: 1) That Matteo Marzotto really should be my husband, and 2: That I didn't know whether Valentino did Menswear or not.Now I am aware that they do, and LOVING this beautiful shirt you've found.Well done Mr. Xx

I LOVED that documentary too. It showed a whole other side to Valentino. So glad you enjoyed it, I hear that film is on the short list for OSCARS. Keep those legs crossed for him!

Oh Thank you Daniel, I sure will and I can't wait for your website.I am trying to reinvent my style at this stage in life, and I really can only afford it by shopping the Thrift stores. I think it is a good time for success at this because of all the overspending and over credit-debiting Americans have indulged in for the last 15 years has resulted in down-sizing and simplifying. And it is the best way to recycle the abundance!
