A Roberto Collina something something!

Umie is in New York, she called me yesterday to tell me about her thrifting adventures. I asked her to please email me her escapade and I will post in on my blog. So once I get the photos and details I will pass it on to you. She did mention that she found me a little Roberto Collina something something. I must confess that I had never heard of this guy but when I Googled his website and saw his creations, I was in LOVE. Roberto Collina’s designs are so fabulously constructed, modern, and of course Italian. I can’t wait for my present from New York. Thanks Umie for shining a light on a designer I had never heard. Now go out and shop some more girl and tell me all about it. Toodles for now. Daniel

I think reading your blog is making me even more addicted to thrift stores than I was before. So, if I go broke, it will totally be your fault. Just sayin'. Today, I got Levi's, a white Faconnable shirt, and a black Salvatore Ferragamo cardigan for $15 at the good ole VV on Moreland. Which is also having a half-off sale Wed, BTW. IMHO, they have better shoes but worse clothes, while Memorial has better clothes and worse shoes. Anywho, happy shopping, and seriously, debtors' prison is in my future. :)

I constantly find Ralph Lauren, Falconnable and Lacoste shirts at the Buford Highway Goodwill in like new condition. I have four fleece Patagonia jackets from the place. And I bought a pair of Gucci driving shoes for $4.00?!?! Passed the orange and silver Prada hightops though, they were size 13 :(

Frugal Hostess I don't know what size shoe you wear but at the Cathedral of St. Philip there were these fabulous Ferragamo gold sandals size 7.5… Love your feedback and information, thanks so much for sharing that with all of us. Email me a photo of the black Ferragamo cardigan. I bet you died when you saw that. Great find. Keep shopping.
