Karl Lagerfeld suit for $14 you would think I robbed the thrift store.

Today I think I hit the mother load of all mother loads. I mean when you stumble upon a Karl Lagerfeld suit for $14 it’s just a sign that all things are going in your direction and life is so good. I almost fell out when I saw this suit, I mean it’s Karl Damn Lagerfeld, the big kahuna of the fashion world and I get his suit for a measly $14. Ok so it just didn’t stop there I also got 2 fabulous Rag & Bones shirts for $2.50 EACH. They retail at Saks for $295. Then I found this fantastic Bally leather belt for $1.50 in mint condition. I tell you the GODDESSES were looking after me today. Ok so lets add up everything I spent today $14 Karl Lagerfeld suit, 2 Rag & Bones shirts $5.00, and a leather super chic Bally belt for $1.50 so with my poor math skills I figured I spent $20.50. Listen to me when I say this “you too can look this R$CH” with a little patience and of course a tad bit of luck on your side. Toodles for now. Daniel

$3 can buy you Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, and Aquascutum slacks!

Today my friend Suzan is coming over to try on 3 pair of slacks I got all from the same thrift store for $1 each a couple of weeks ago. Can you believe I paid $1 for: Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Aquascutum dress slacks. They just happen to all be size 6 which is Suzan’s size, so if they all fit her to perfection she will have SCORED big time today. I can’t wait for her to come over and try them all on and model for me. These Dolce & Gabbana khakis are in fabulous condition and the Moschino slacks look almost brand new. To me the find of that day were the http://www.aquascutum.com/ they are designed in London and made in France. Doesn’t that just sound rich. I’ll let you all know just how fabulous Suzan looked. Have fun hunting for wonderful treasures and remember DON’T PAY RETAIL boys and girls. Toodles for now. Daniel Atlanta

$3 for a Burberry shirt -now that's what I call a bargain.

Yesterday I hit one of my favorite thrift stores here in Atlanta, Attic Treasures Thrift store on Broad street in Chamblee and found this fabulous Burberry shirt for $3 and this fantastic wool London Fog cap for $1.00. Spending a whopping $4.00 I walked out of that store feeling like I had stole something from them. I’m normally not the “print” type of a guy but for a $3 (did I mention that it was $3) Burberry shirt I’ll wear that out proudly. One regret yesterday I didn’t buy a Yves Saint Laurent silk scarf for $1.50. I carried it around with me the entire time I was there and I thought about giving it away as a gift but didn’t do it. Who knows maybe you’ll see me there again today. For now shop hard and shop smart.
