Sterling silver jewels.
Atlanta
Yesterday I decided to go to this estate sale even though Sundays aren’t really great for unearthing treasures at estate sales because you really have to hit estate sales or yard sales on day one which is usually on Fridays. So I stopped anyways and in this huge plastic container along with hundreds of pieces of costume jewelry I spotted this fabulous sterling silver choker necklace and next to the necklace were these incredible modernist earrings that at first glance I thought were really damn cool but noticed they were signed. I paid $7.00 for everything and when I got home and took out my loop I discovered the earrrings were signed Karram Sterling as in Alfred Karram you can find more about this fabulous modernist jeweler by going to his website www.alfredkarram.com .
I had my kitty Jenny model the necklace and I’m thinking she would look so gorgeous with those earrings, I just need to get her ears pierced but that’s another day. Oh and yes I’m wearing a Dunhill shirt I got at the thrift stores for $3.00. Dunhill baby. Yes that is a Marko Spalatin signed serigraph (a printed design produced by means of a silkscreen) check out this website www.markospalatin.com and click on permanent collections. In the photo you only see one print but I own 2 of them and grabbed them out of a thrift store and paid $8.00 each. You gotta keep searching those thrift stores but wait for me.
Toodles for now.
